Solabomi [Sola] Sodeke is a UK-based visual artist whose oil paintings explore identity and interpersonal relationships through abstraction. Born in Ilé-Ifẹ̀, (b.1996 Nigeria), Sola draws from nature, personal and collective experiences as sources for examination. Working primarily in oil, Sola’s technique emphasises texture and colour.

Sola is a training Art Psychotherapist in postgraduate study at the University of Hertfordshire. Through a relational psychodynamic approach, Sola’s therapeutic style invites expressive dialogue and fosters creative freedom in workshops.

They received a BA in Advertising & Marketing from De Montfort University in 2018, which supported a marketing career in the gaming industry at studios like EA and Zynga. Now, they are a marketeer turned social researcher.
